HISTORY OF WHITE RIVER FLOORING

White River Flooring was started in August of 2000 by three installers who decided to go into business for themselves.  Their idea was to create a store focused on product knowledge, and first and foremost, focused on quality service, especially on the job.  In the early years you could find two of the owners leading jobs and the other owner running the business and organizing the jobs to be done.  In 2004 we became a commercially licensed contractor for the state of Arkansas, specializing in the flooring industry.  We have all the proper insurances, bonding capabilities, and personnel to run any size project-big or small.

Today we work on as few as 4 jobs a day or as many as 10 jobs a day-depending on the size of the project and the time factor.  We have a great staff which includes: installers, sales personnel, and owners. Ownership of White River Flooring has changed a little over the years, but the drive to be the best has only gotten stronger in the minds of the remaining two owners.  The owners have divided the responsibilities of the business into two parts:  Waylon is the head of the business and sales staff, and Joseph is the leader of the installers and workers--who are the face of our company.  Joesph can be found on the job from time to time making sure that when we say we have the best qualified installers and workers, we mean it.  This was the keystone to success for White River Flooring in the early years, and even though an owner doesn’t lead every job we do now, more than likely an owner will be present, or a simple phone call away, making sure each and every project is up to our high standards.
